(Hair)itage

This film takes a non-linear narrative approach, exploring mixed-race identity, Canadian/Caribbean heritage, the politics of black hair and family. For this project, I wanted to channel the filmmaking practices of the Black Film genre, placing importance of each individual encounter in space and time.
